Thursday thought - detail your car.

Here's a curveball for you. Two suggestions you may not expect from me;

Drop off your paid for, used car at a mechanic you trust and tell them to do what's needed - give it a tune up, a once over, whatever you want to call it. Scheduled maintenance. Secondly, get your car cleaned every now and again by a professional who does detailing. You'd be stunned what difference it makes in your feelings toward your car to keep up on scheduled maintenance and having your car feeling brand new. For us, we find that keeping our cars tidy and maintained decreases our desire to trade in, look elsewhere, etc. You cannot win with money with car payments every month for the rest of your life - so find a hack to increase satisfaction with what is working for you now!
