I think it's important to triple down on what you do best. I have a personality that lends itself well to extremes - if I'm in to something, it's intense, it's passionate, it's binary. We started our Total Money Makeover in late February of 2019, and I have had dozens of conversations with family and friends as a result of it. Dollar for dollar, I'll put our progress numbers up against anyone. We have proven we know what we're doing, and we've done more for our net worth in the last ten months than we have in the last eight years. I'm talking to families and friends all the time who aren't desperate yet, who are still focusing on the Jones', on the neighbors, on what their family would think of doing some downsizing, some scaling back, saying "no" a bit more often.
